Our journey into the world of large breed dogs began in 2008 with our beloved mastiffs, half English and half Neapolitan, weighing in at 180 lbs each. They not only graced our lives with their gentle giant nature but also served as devoted protectors of our family, especially our newborn children.

In 2016, we discovered the Cane Corso breed and were later drawn to the original Cane Corsos championed by Outlaw Cane Corso in Louisiana. In 2020 we put a deposit down with Outlaw, but with the waitlist being quite long and eager to welcome a new pup into our family, we found a reputable breeder in South Georgia, where we welcomed into our home an AKC/ICCF registered female, Quaking Earth “Aspen.”

Our commitment to preserving the breed's integrity led us to adopt High Father “Abram,” the pick of the litter ICCF registered male from Outlaw, in 2022. Waiting until Aspen was 3 ½ years old, ensuring her full maturity, we embarked on the next step of our journey, venturing into a litter of pups… with a focus on preserving the noble and loyal characteristics of the Cane Corso.

Son of Atkin's Cane Corso is a testament to our passion for these magnificent dogs. Located in Cumming, GA, we are a small hobby breeder deeply invested in the well-being of our dogs. Each of our dogs undergoes obedience training and is an integral part of our family, growing up alongside our children, friends, and neighbors.

Our breeding philosophy is rooted in promoting the breed's true heritage, prioritizing pure lines undiluted by club ideals that encourage cross-breeding strictly for show characteristics. At Son of Atkin's Cane Corso, we strive to share the joy and magnificence of the Cane Corso breed with others who value its noble traits.
